How the calculation works
cost = warp + weft + hours × rate + extras; target price = cost ÷ (1 − margin)
This is arithmetic for a maker’s cost worksheet. It excludes sales tax, marketplace fees, business income taxes, and any costs you did not enter. It does not predict market demand or recommend what a buyer will pay.
