A little less arithmetic at the loom.

WeaveCompass brings the scattered parts of a weaving plan into one place.

The free desk connects finished dimensions, measured allowances, warp ends, and yarn requirements. Every calculation is exposed so you can compare the output with your own process.

The project is independently developed. It is not affiliated with Gist Yarn, Yarnworker, Schacht, or any loom or yarn manufacturer. The sources page links to educators and reference material used to ground the methods.

How the business works

The web tools are free. Optional one-time downloads add offline convenience and repeat-project workflows. There are no testimonials, customer counts, or claims of demonstrated material savings because those outcomes have not yet been measured.

What to expect

Simple tools, clear assumptions, and portable files. The calculations can be tested; your yarn and finishing behavior still need a sample. If you spot a problem, use the issue-report guide.
