How the calculation works

ends/cm = EPI ÷ 2.54; ends/10 cm = EPI × 10 ÷ 2.54

Some metric reeds are labeled in dents per ten centimeters. Check the unit on the reed; the number alone is ambiguous. This is a density conversion, not a recommendation for a suitable sett.
